The Wilderness Coast is a long one. Check out the map. From Narooma, pretty much, to Eden, mostly, and up those big hills to where it snows. Ever breathed in the sea and let out a long green mountain sigh? That’s the sort of breathing that seems to work in this landscape – deep, resonant, magpie-whooping lungfuls of oxygen and sea spray. Breathing, creativity, it’s all one in the same, isn’t it?
There’re valleys and inlets and towns and moments and nature doing its own thing, like somersaults of blue sky and cloud, like sleeping bear noses in burrows; nature peeping out at you from beak, akubra, antenna and cake stall. Saying g’day in a thousand dialects.
